I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut and have been a practicing psychotherapist for 30 years.  I was also trained as a hypnotherapist by Dr. Daniel Brown, PhD.

 

In 2006, I began my Shamanic training with Alberto Villoldo and Linda Fitch at the Healing the Light Body School.  After completion of the program in 2007, I spent some time in Peru working with and receiving initiations from the Q’ero Shamans of the high Andes and working with Amazonian Shamans of the rain forest.  

 

In 2016, I returned to Peru to work again with Linda Fitch and with Dona Julia Calderon, a most renowned Shaman of Northern Peru and daughter of the late Don Eduardo Calderon.  Other teachers that I have trained with include Hank Wesselman, Martin Prechtel, and Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
